Presentation of poet Jerome Rothenberg, 17/10/2008

The Hellenic American Union in cooperation with the online magazine Poeticanet and Harmos Publications present the renowned American poet, anthologist and translator, Jerome Rothenberg. The presentation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 20:15, at the roof garden of the Hellenic American Union, (22 Massalias St., Kolonaki, 8th floor).

Jerome Rothenberg was born in New York. He is widely known for his work on traditional poetry and poetry performance. He has written and edited over sixty books of poetry and several anthologies of traditional and contemporary poetry. Demosthenes Agrafiotis, poet and Iossif Ventura, poet and publisher of Poeticanet, will present Jerome Rothenberg. Liana Sakelliou, professor at the University of Athens and poet and Maro Papadimitriou, poet will read of his poems.
Tilemachos Moussas jazz quartet will perform on the night.
Admission is free to the public.
